Megan Carey Fuchs, M.A., BCBA

Megan Carey Fuchs is a board certified behavior analyst (Certificate number 1-17-28038) with over eleven years experience working with children with developmental disabilities in home, school, and community settings. Originally from Florida, Megan graduated with honors from Saint Mary’s College with a bachelor’s degree in psychology with minors in communicative disorders and Spanish. Here, she was introduced to ABA and interned as a practicum student at the Sonya Ansari Center for Autism and in the homes of children with autism. Megan earned a master’s degree in bilingual and multicultural education at the Universidad de Alcalá in Spain while teaching English at a local school. She continued her education in New York City and attended Columbia University’s Teachers College in the graduate master’s program of Teaching as Applied Behavior Analysis under Dr. R.D. Greer. In New York, Megan was trained in the Comprehensive Application of Behavior Analysis to Schooling (CABAS®) system and earned her Teacher 1 rank. She worked as an assistant behavior specialist and teaching assistant in CABAS® self-contained and inclusion classrooms with pre-school and elementary aged children in special and general education. Megan moved to Germany in 2018 and has worked as a BCBA with children and adolescents in Ramstein and Bavaria. Megan’s professional interests include verbal behavior development, inclusive education, and creating positive behavior support plans. She is a member of the Association for Behavior Analysis-Germany.
